Closed-Cell PVC Foam
Polyvinyl chloride closed-cell
foam with pressure-sensitive adhesive is
designed to provide a high performance seal
against dust, light, air, and moisture.
We can design products to fit any profile
and is also available in extrusion. The
PVC foams can also be used for die cut gasketing.
Another advantage of PVC foams is the fact
that the foam products are available “flame
retardant” and has vibration-damping
properties. This gives the PVC foam more
versatility when applying to certain applications.
Furthermore, our PVC foams can be formulated
to meet UL-94, USDA, and FDA approvals to
better accommodate our customer’s
needs, and satisfying our customers is Tape
Specialists’ top priority.
Closed-Cell Neoprene
Neoprene is a closed-cell
product that is made out of cellular rubber.
It is also a high petroleum resistant material
that is fast setting and is water resistant.
Neoprene is available in many forms such
as: rolls, sheets, or strips etc. According
to our customer’s needs, neoprene
is offered with or without adhesive. Extrusions are also another unique option for the neoprene.
Similar to the PVC foam tape, the Neoprene
can be provided to meet UL-94 (without adhesive),
USDA, and FDA; it also meets SCE and RE
specifications. In addition, these products
can be die cut to any size, shape, or form
to fit your needs
Open-Cell Foam
Polyurethane, polyester,
and/or ether sheets are available on rolls.
Open-cell foam tape has the capability of
being die cut as well as coming with or
without adhesive. Open cell foam is a high
performance adhesive that seals light and
dust extremely well.
X-Link Polyethylene
Polyethylene is foam
with an adhesive on one or two sides of
the product. TSG is also able
to apply a variety of adhesives to the X-Link
Polyethylene like most of our other products.
This product is ideal for light to moderate
mounting applications. In addition, this
product can be die cut to fit your specifications.
Glazing Foams
These foams are most
used for commercial window glazing with
moderate joint movement. Double-sided adhesive
glazing foams meet AMMA 810.1 standards
as well. Glazing foams can be tailored at
TSG to fit any window application
needed by our customer. Die cutting the
material to fit your needs is also another
option offered at TSG

Micro-Cellular Foams
Micro-cellular urethane
foam is known for its “energy absorbing”
or “vibration damping” capabilities.
This foam comes with/without high performance
adhesive depending on your preference. This
product is also ideal for die cut gasketing.
Butyl-Coated Foam
It’s a “two
in one” foam that combines extruded
PVC foam with a butyl covering on top to
give an aggressive seal and fill small voids.
Available in long length spools or rolls
to fit our customer’s requests. Since
butyl has a very aggressive adhesive, it
is great for sealing water or small voids.
Silicone Foams and Rubber
Products
If you are looking for
thermal stability in high temperature applications,
than this product is the answer. In part,
these products provide less vibration and
better sealing for all applications. Silicone
Sponge can easily be die cut to better fit
your needs, and it is available with or
without adhesive. The product is perfect
for complex and customized profiles. It
is also available with solid reinforced
adhesive conductive along with coated fabrics.
Static Cling Foams
Static Cling sticks to
non-porous surfaces without adhesive. This
enables you to hold flat, smooth, glass-like
materials together without an adhesive residue
with maximum protection. This product gives
you a safe an easy way to protect your glass
from scratches.
VHB™ Foam Tape
The VHB™ tape properties
consist of materials that traditionally
absorb shock. Fortunately, VHB™ tape
eliminates stress points without the use
of traditional fasteners like screws, nails,
rivets etc., and it also has high holding
power in high static and/or dynamic applications.
Aggressive adhesive allows you to hold moderately
heavy objects together, consequently enabling
you to tackle more complex applications
even easier. The VHB™ Tapes are also
UV resistant.
Polyurethane Foam Mounting
Tape
The foam is very durable
and is known for its high strength mounting
capabilities. The polyurethane foam is made
for severe applications. This foam tape
needs no time, screws, or holes to accomplish
the job. Another unique feature about the
polyurethane foam tape is that it is an
all-weather foam. Hence, this product is
suited for applications indoors and/or outdoors,
respectively.
